I know how painful family estrangement can be. I’m so sorry you went through the emotional trauma of dealing with these accusations against your parents. I have no such “traumatic excuse” for my five siblings distance. Except that we were raised with shelter and food but zero emotional connection. I’m the odd man out who feels deeply, writes, and creates art to deal with life.My sibling don’t address feelings at all. I think perhaps that is why we are all here on Medium, working out our stuff.
